Why a youth ministry at St. Helena?

A youth ministry is important in the life of the Church! In this grace-filled moment, you and I are called by the Lord to do this important ministry.

What is the Calasanz Movement about?

The Calasanz Movement is an international youth movement that has as its mission to empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today and to draw young people to a responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community.

Its goal is to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of every young person.  By following Saint Joseph Calasanz' example, may we discover Jesus Christ in children and youth and the need to share His calling to serve  them. 

The importance of the mission of the Calasanz Movement Youth Group's ministry is to follow the path and words of Jesus ...
