On December 23, 2019, the St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta Group was in Jacobi Hospital delivering Christmas gifts to the children who were there. This is an important part of the group's mission.

Christmas Visit to Rebekah Nursing Home


Today, we went to visit Joyce Hoyt at the Workmen's Circle Nursing Home, and whenever we go to visit she gets so happy that we are with her. That's why we ask for QDLB, always Amen


Nursing Home Ministry
The St. Teresa group visits the Rebekah Extended Care Center every Wednesday and celebrates Mass at the nursing home on the second Monday of every month.

       One of the ministries of the St. Teresa Group is to regularly visit residents at various area nursing homes on Wednesday mornings.  Mass is conducted on the second Monday of every month at the facilities by Father Nelson Henao, who is the chaplain of this new ministry group here at St. Helena.
